WHOEVER IS ABLE TO HELP FRANCIS SET UP A SHODDY BATTLE SERVER WITH CUSTOM POKEMON WILL RECEIVE A FULL TEAM OF SIX POKEMON TO THEIR EXACT SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING EV TRAINING, SHINY, MOVESETS, ETC.
Hey guys, it's Francis here. I've got a couple of news announcements here, along with a request (if you can't guess what the request in, it's in the thread title, and in GIANT capital letters right above this).
First and foremost is Project Fakémon, which I'll detail here.
Project Fakémon is going to involve the community (yes, that means you) creating several new fake Pokémon, which will be added to either:
A) A ROM hack, or preferably...
B) A Shoddy Battle server!
Now, unlike the folks at Smogon, we're not looking to make balanced super-Pokémon designed to combat the OU metagame. We're not really looking for balance period. Instead, just post whatever you want, and our sprite artists will attempt to produce your Pokémon, while we add them to the game and see how they fare.
Note that we also have the new Fakémon board for you to post your concepts and ideas in for everyone else to discuss and rate. Just follow the template at the top of the board (or check out the first Fakémon posted, Lucideon) as examples.
Now, if you can't tell by the request at the top of this thread, we're looking to add YOUR Pokémon into the fray, provided we can get Shoddy going. So hey, what are you waiting for? Lets do this!
